SIGINON SACCO DAY

This was an Event organized by the Sacco Management Team under the Marketing Department through the Education Committee, an event specifically for Siginon Sacco where by the office went mobile to all sites where members are for the purpose of introducing the office team to members and vice-versa. Again an event aimed at meeting members queries and complains, suggestions and opinions, and offering services to members through the office team in a unique way. It was also an event for sharing the mile stones achieved by the Sacco to members and recruitment of non-members.

Sacco day was of it’s kind an event that has never been organized before, an eye opener, confidence and trust builder to partners and members. Greased with all approvals from the board through the education committee it closed with success in all visited sites with members being gifted with branded T-shirts and Bags after taking part in dancing competitions and other activities.

There was a good number in attendance for all sites and a total recruitment of 11 members and a good sale of loan products. We appreciate K-Teck team, our partner in supply of smart phones under our special product loan who offered us a tent and a display table for the four days. Sacco Day 2 – Siginon Liwatoni Warehouse

Sacco Day 3 – Siginon Cfs & Regional Logistics Miritini

At Siginon Cfs Miritini, Started with prayers, Mr. Gideon Kiptui taking the task.

Sacco Day 4 – Siginon Global & Warehouse Shimanzi

It all started with a Word of prayer at Siginon Warehouse Shimanzi, Mr. Otaga took the task to pray.
Sacco Board Member and Chairman of the Supervisory committee, Mr. Erick Onyango who is also the Operations Manger at Siginon Warehouse Department giving his opening remarks and a go ahead of the Sacco Day Event at Shimanzi Warehouse.
It was time to dance and turn the Friday into a Furahi-day! The members who were part of the Sacco Day Event couldn’t be left behind.
Mr. Byron Kongere, SGLM GM and a former Sacco Treasurer was part of the event, he opened with wise remarks and here gifting one of the member who emerged first during the dancing competition.

36TH AGM

SUCCESSFUL AGM AGAIN

Sacco Held its Annual General Meeting on 22nd April 2023 at Siginon Global Logistics Mombasa – Transport Yard being a review of the year ended 31st December 2022. The weather was really a threat to this meeting, but members showed how they valued the Sacco and attended in large numbers. Special Thanks to Mr. Nashon Oloo, Francis Sungu & Madam Ann Luke who travelled all the way from Nairobi for the AGM to represent their fellow members from that side. We also appreciate the Ministry of Co-operatives, CIC Group, Co-operative Bank, Loftiers Ltd, KUSCCO Ltd for sending their representatives.

DIVIDENDS & INTERESTS

We managed to declare 3% on deposits and 12% on share capital as a return to our members and this was higher compared to year 2021. Being a growing Sacco with over 540 members, we are grateful for the growth and support from members through their continuous savings and borrowing culture.
